Are these the mosque's official times ?

No. These are calculations from city-centre coordinates. Mosque timetables may use different angles, adjustments and congregation times. Follow your local mosque.

Why can Asr times differ ?

The Hanafi and majority shadow-length conventions give different Asr calculations. Choose the convention used by your local community ; this tool does not give a ruling.

Are Ramadan dates confirmed ?

No. The Umm al-Qura calendar supplies an estimated start for planning. Local moon sighting and official announcements determine the observed dates.

Is my location or timetable choice stored ?

No. This tool uses a selected public city, not your private location. Selections remain on this page and are not saved to a member account.

Local timetable guidance

Edinburgh Central Mosque's official site names the institution as the Mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Islamic Centre of Edinburgh. This fuller title helps distinguish the source from other Edinburgh prayer spaces and from generic city listings. The source is a public institutional homepage rather than a private congregation database. The note does not turn the formal name into an unsupported ownership claim or infer current religious-service availability from it. Edinburgh's city coordinate and time-zone fields are documented separately so that the institution's identity does not obscure the geographical basis of prayer calculations. GeoNames records Edinburgh under GB with the IANA time zone Europe/London. Its published populated-place coordinates are the geographic reference for this entry, not a surveyed mosque location.
