Ramadan calendar for Munich

Local timetable guidance

Islamisches Zentrum München supplies the official institutional source for Munich. The website identifies the Islamic centre by its German name and provides a public route to its own information rather than relying on a third-party mosque catalogue. The source establishes the centre's identity, but this entry deliberately avoids unsupported claims about congregation size, construction milestones or the current availability of ceremonies. Munich's English city name is retained for readers, while the centre's original name is preserved for recognition when following the link. Geographic fields are drawn from GeoNames, not reverse-engineered from an assumed mosque position. GeoNames records Munich under DE with the IANA time zone Europe/Berlin. Its published populated-place coordinates are the geographic reference for this entry, not a surveyed mosque location.

Common questions

Are these the mosque's official times?

No. These are calculations from city-centre coordinates. Mosque timetables may use different angles, adjustments and congregation times. Follow your local mosque.

Why can Asr times differ?

The Hanafi and majority shadow-length conventions give different Asr calculations. Choose the convention used by your local community; this tool does not give a ruling.

Are Ramadan dates confirmed?

No. The Umm al-Qura calendar supplies an estimated start for planning. Local moon sighting and official announcements determine the observed dates.

Is my location or timetable choice stored?

No. This tool uses a selected public city, not your private location. Selections remain on this page and are not saved to a member account.
